Info

Can you make reservations or purchase gift certificates or prepaid tickets?

  • You may purchase a gift certificate or advance ticket by coming to the Zoo, or by calling ZOOm Air at 407.330.0767. Reservations are not necessary, unless you plan to bring a group of 20 or more.

What's the difference between the courses?

  • We have two courses for children, the Kids' Course and the Jungle Course. Both are included with a child's admission. The Upland Course (for individuals over 54" tall) is our primary course, promising about 1.5 hours of moderate challenge and extreme fun. The Rainforest Course takes you higher and offers increased challenge.

I'm ready! Can I just go on the Rainforest Course?

  • No, sorry. It's not that we don't believe you. Our policy is that you may go in the Rainforest only after completing Upland that same visit. As we said, the Rainforest is more challenging, and for your safety, we and you need to know you're up to the challenge that day.
  1. Can I take a break if I get tired, and finish the course later? How do I get down if I get tired or cannot finish the course?
  • There is a "natural" break in the middle of the Upland course, and between the Upland and the Rainforest courses, where you do come to the ground before going up again. This is a great time to take a short break, use the facilities, or get more water. However, you cannot come back and finish the course on another day, using the same admission bracelet. No one is permitted to go on the Rainforest course without first completing the Upland course in that same visit, regardless of whether you have been on the courses before. In the event of inclement weather, emergency health concerns, or some other reason a person cannot continue the course, specially trained ZOOm Air Safety Officers are available to get individuals off the course quickly. We hope that guests will honestly evaluate their health before attempting the course, in order to avoid the need to leave before completing it. There are no refunds if you are unable to complete the course for any of the above-mentioned reasons.

Do you offer any discounts?

  • The only discount currently in place is our group rate (please see below).

Is there a weight limit?

  • No, as long as you can fit into a harness (maximum of 48” waist and 26” leg openings) and are physically capable of such activity there is not a weight limit. The course does, however, have height limitations; for the children's courses you must be between 36” and 60” tall, and for the Upland and Rainforest courses you must be at least 54”.

Consent form age limit?

  • Anyone younger than 16 years old must have a parent or guardian sign a consent form to participate in the course. Those under 12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult (from the ground is fine).

What are the hours?

  • 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (or when the last guest is off the course) daily except Christmas and Thanksgiving
  1. When is the last admission?
  • 4:30 p.m.

Do you have a group rate?

  • Groups of 20 or more paying guests receive a 10% discount. To qualify for this discount, the group must contact ZOOm Air in advance and the group's admission must be paid in a single transaction. If special scheduling is in order, this will be taken care of when you contact ZOOm Air to receive the group rate.

What are “games?”

  • A game is a tree-to-tree adventure, a zip line, or any other element used to get from one point in a course to the next. So each course has a certain number of games, including such elements as a swinging or rope bridge, tightrope, spider web crawl, bucket crawl, or zip line.

How many games are on each course?

  • Kid’s Courses (both courses for one admission): 32 games plus 1 zip line (swing zip)
  • Upland Course: 30 games plus 4 zip lines
  • Rainforest Course: 28 games plus 5 zip lines (with the longest zip line of 512')

How long does it take to complete each course?

  • For the Kid’s Courses, the time varies depending on each child; expect anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. For the Upland Course only, it takes approximately 1.5 hours. For the Rainforest Course, you must first complete the Upland Course before moving on to the Rainforest, so for the entire Upland/Rainforest Course it will take approximately 2.5 hours, depending on your skill level and the number of participants on the course. If you are an experienced course participant, the time to complete could be much less. And, much like golf, you move on as the people in front of you move on, but you aren’t able to play through.

How many zip lines? (See above for course details)

  • Ten! The 45'-long swing zip in the Kid’s Jungle Course; 4 zip lines in Upland; and 5 zip lines in the Rainforest. The longest zip is 512' and the highest zip is 50'.
